The Backland 117 is a men's touring ski from Atomic.

With their worked shape and high quality materials, the Backland 117 are ideal for demanding freeskiers, who don't want to neglect sensations or style. This is the largest ski in the Backland range. 

The Backland 117 features the revolutionary HRZN technology in the tip that increases the surface area of the ski at the front for better lift and faster, more confident progress in deep snow. Its rocker Powder is specially designed for powder snow, with a more pronounced rocker on the tip and a lighter heel, for even more fun in the powder!

The Backland 117 is designed with an Ultra Light Woodcoremade from Keruba for strength and poplar for lightness, which provides optimal stability and agility for speeding down the slopes.

There is also an ultra-light Carbon Backbone structure that runs through the entire ski and acts as a backbone along the ski. This stabilises it, for exceptional agility and very good edge grip, all without any additional weight to allow for easier uphill movement.

The Full Sidewall  structure allows smooth and stable ride on all terrains, even the toughest ones. This construction provides better control and edge grip. The rounded shape of the Dual Cap Sidewall prevents dents and chips for optimum durability.
