SPHERICAL MIPS: Spherical technology, powered by Mips®, is a refinement and evolution of the multidirectional impact protection system (Mips). Thanks to this sophisticated design, two layers of foam fit together like a ball-and-socket joint. This system helps to protect the brain from rotational energy by allowing a relative movement of 10 to 15 millimetres between the helmet and the head during the first milliseconds of an impact.
- HYBRID CONSTRUCTION : Hybrid construction combines a durable, ventilated hard shell with a moulded lower shell and sidewalls for added protection and style. With hybrid construction, the helmet is reinforced for greater durability while remaining lightweight. The hybrid construction also includes a lightweight, shock-absorbing EPS foam lining.
THERMOSTAT CONTROL: A system that lets you customise the airflow instantly with a simple, discreet control button on the outside of the helmet. No other system is quicker or easier to adjust, and nothing is more effective at keeping you comfortable.
IN FORM FIT SYSTEM: The adjustment system provides a personalised fit in seconds, even when wearing gloves. The new on-the-fly vertical adjustment function adapts to different eyeglass and head shapes for a customised fit with no gaps.
VIVID OPTICS BY ZEISS: VIVID is a patented lens technology developed by Giro in partnership with ZEISS® Opticsthat enhances the visual experience on snow by increasing contrast and definition. VIVID reduces visual fatigue, improves reaction time, boosts confidence and offers precise vision without colour saturation. The lens technology effectively manipulates blue light by allowing contrast-enhancing blue light to pass through, while blocking harmful UV light. VIVID essentially filters the mist and frees your eyes to spot your line and concentrate on the pleasure of gliding.
