It offers an adjustment range of 35mm (from -7.5 / +27.5mm) to offer a better adaptation to different sole lengths whereas the classic model offers "only" 15mm. The Alpinist 12 Long Travel also benefits from an active compensation of 4mm of its length, when flexing the ski to best adapt to the terrain.

With a weight of 540 g per pair (without breaks), the Alpinist is a true jewel! The front toe piece reinforced with carbon provides considerable stiffness and therefore no loss of energy. In addition, elastomeric pads provide optimal ice protection and ease of fitting.

To help you in your ascents, 3 wedge heights are available (0°, 5° and 9°) and it is possible to switch from the smallest to the largest one quickly and without having to turn the heel piece. Also the Alpinist 12 Long Travel is compatible with crampons, available in 4 sizes, and that attach in the blink of an eye.
