Alien 1.0

Alien 1.0 are ski mountaineering boots from Scarpa... and not just any boots.

This ski mountaineering formula 1, known as the white wolf in the industry for several years, is undergoing a makeover this year. Once again, Scarpa amazes with its ability to produce incredibly lightweight boots that maintain good skiability and comfort. Competitors, or simply those who want the lightest and most efficient equipment possible should be delighted. 

On this latest version, there is a new, even more effective carbon collar, as well as a carbon Grilamid clog, allowing for an incredible weight of 760g per shoe (barely more than a reblochon), all while keeping an excellent rigidity. This means that you have the necessary support to cross fields of moguls, without having to turn around to watch your opponents bite the dust behind you.
Lightness and support are not the only advantages of this Alien 1.0. Thanks to its 75° travel, you'll be able to walk completely normally, and will probably never reach the maximum amplitude, even in the flattest and steepest passages.

The Alien 1.0 also features a gaiter that will prevent any snow from entering the inside of the boot during the race. Its Boa® tightening will allow a perfect and fast adjustment according to the volume of your foot at the time. There is also a UFO Scarpa® / Vibram® sole ensuring phenomenal grip when you have your skis on your back. A true super-glue to rocks, which meets the standards of ISMF (Fédération Internationale de Ski-Alpinisme).

In terms of comfort, the Italian brand has thought of everything with a small pad on the calf. Made of EVA, this small and comfortable cushion prevents pressure points and pain. 
The Cross Fit Intuition BT liner is also impressively comfortable with 100% thermosettable high-density foams.

With these new Alien 1.0 on your feet, victory is on your side. So you'll also need a good cardio and legs of fire, but your new boots will allow you to surpass your limits and fly away like E.T. on his bike. The sky is the limit...
