Soft and supple, this wool is an excellent thermal insulator that ideally regulates body temperature in both winter and summer. It can absorb one third of its weight in the form of water vapour, and its heat release prevents the sensation of cooling. Even when wet, the garment remains warm. Wool fibres are naturally resistant to mechanical wear, get dirty very little, and are antibacterial, significantly reducing unpleasant odours as well as the need for washing. Like all natural materials, Laine de mérinos is biodegradable. |
