In Brazil, cotton is organic and agro-ecological, a form of agriculture that enriches the soil after it has been cultivated by making the most of the complementary nature of the species grown and the retention of water in the soil. In Peru, organic cotton farmers are helped to obtain certification and receive technical and financial support to improve their production. |
