These shoes are made from suede leather, a soft and durable material sourced from farms located in the Rio Grande do Sul region of Brazil. This leather has been tanned in Brazil without the use of hazardous or banned chemicals, with careful water management throughout the tanning process. To protect the sneakers from light rain, the suede is then coated with PFC-free water-repellent oils. The insoles and outsoles of these shoes contain Amazonian rubber. Veja guarantees shoes made in Brazil, in workshops that respect both the environment and human rights.
