| SUEDE | Suede is the reverse side of leather that is sanded to give it a soft and supple appearance. It comes from farms in Rio Grande do Sul. It is tanned in Brazil according to REACH standards. Water is used sparingly during the tanning process. This suede is then coated with PFC-free 5 (chemical composition) water-repellent oils to protect the sneakers from light rain. |
| ORGANIC COTTON | The canvas is made of 100% organic-certified cotton, which is grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. An agriculture that enriches the land after it has been cultivated by enhancing the biodiversity of the species that are grown. |
| JERSEY | This jersey lining is made of 33% organic cotton and 67% recycled polyester (PET), which is derived from recycled plastic bottles. |
| WILD RUBBER FROM THE AMAZON | Each sole is made of 18-22% wild rubber from the Amazon rainforest. Syringeiros (rubber workers) are paid according to the principles of fair trade. The use of this Amazon rubber increases the economic value of the forest and protects it from deforestation. |
