| LEATHER | The leather comes from the farms of the Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). It is tanned to comply with REACH standards. The use of water during the tanning process is respectful to the environment. |
| COATED FABRIC | The coated fabric is used as a substitute for vegan suede when the latter is at risk of discoloration. |
| ORGANIC COTTON | The canvas is made from 100% certified organic cotton, grown without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers. An agriculture that enriches the earth after it has been cultivated by valuing the complementarity of the spaces that Veja cultivates. |
| JERSEY | The jersey lining is made from 33% organic cotton and 67% recycled polyester (P.E.T.) from recycled plastic bottles. |
| WILD AMAZONIAN RUBBER | Each sole is composed of 18-22% wild rubber from the Amazon rainforest. The rubber gatherers collect the latex from the wild rubber plants and are paid a fair trade wage. The use of wild rubber increases the economic value of the forest and protects it from deforestation. |
